We\u2019re here to help you navigate through the challenges of the virus and equip you with necessary knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/famurgentcare.com\/fam-back-up\/about\/#provider\">Asrar Sheikh, MD, Teofilo Vinluan, MD, and the rest of our team<\/a>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/famurgentcare.com\/fam-back-up\/\">Family Urgent Care<\/a>&nbsp;are dedicated to helping you understand everything you need to know about&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/famurgentcare.com\/fam-back-up\/coronavirus\/\">coronavirus<\/a>. We also provide testing at our Lincoln Park and Chicago, Illinois, locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Symptoms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Knowing the signs of coronavirus can help you know what to do next. Symptoms to watch for include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Fever<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cough<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shortness of breath<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fatigue<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Body aches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loss of smell<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loss of taste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dizziness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loss of appetite<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nausea<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diarrhea<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vomiting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Symptoms of the virus can show up in different ways. Some people experience worse symptoms than others. Regardless of the severity, you should get tested if you show signs of any of the above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Testing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide&nbsp;nasal swab and antibody testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For outside testing, drive your car up to the sign that says, \u201cReserved For Covid Testing.\u201d Then call our number at the location where you\u2019ve arrived. We come out to you and provide the test while you sit in your car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For inside testing, we direct you where to go once you arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After your test, stay quarantined until your results are confirmed, which can take up to five days. To provide you with your results, we set up a telehealth call with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you test positive, you need to stay at home or isolated for 10-14 days. Once you\u2019re symptom-free after your fulfilled time of quarantining, you can get back to your normal, daily routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, you can be asymptomatic and still test positive. Even if you don\u2019t have any symptoms, you need to quarantine for 10-14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Telehealth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can use our telehealth services to discuss your symptoms with us, if you\u2019d like. That way, you don\u2019t have to leave your home and put others at risk for the virus if you suspect you have it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can simply book a telehealth appointment and we\u2019ll send you an invite to accept the invitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Healing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you test positive, stay well-hydrated, take Tylenol to reduce your fever and cold symptoms.
